This is the first book in the Wolf Creek Shifters series, and it sets the stage for a world where Prey and Predator shifters live under strict laws that forbid them from being together. Of course, that makes the romance between Clover and Killian all the more compelling.

I read an ARC of this book in ebook format, and I have to say—it’s a quick, light read that has a lot of potential to grow as the series continues. While there were a few moments where the pacing felt slightly clunky, there’s a charm to the story that kept me turning the pages.
